PlanetShoes had the deal I’d been waiting for! I brought the Earth Tamarisk in both black and brown for $49 each, plus free shipping! It’s the only pair of heels I can wear all day at work and then out to dinner without any complaints from my feet or knees. I am so grateful for the excellent arch support. For those who think the heel is too chunky, there’s a more refined version out now called the Tamarack that has a slightly higher but slimmer heel. Hope it’ll turn up in your reviews soon, Kirsten.

  2. Can I quote you?? I’ve wanted to feature this shoe, but read a few customer reviews mentioning the toe box is pinchy. What do you think? Would they work for someone with moderate bunions? I do love the look of them.

Quote away! I find the toe box comfy, but perhaps it’s because I wear a size 10 Wide. The Regular may be pinchy, maybe? I don’t have bunions or bunionettes, but I do have a very wide foot (almost 4 inches at its widest!) due to a callous/corn that juts out at the base (not tip) of my last toe, which the shoe accomodates nicely. The leather is forgiving, but not so soft that it would cause the front toe area to stretch out completely like in driving mocs. I have seen several comments about heel slippage though, which I’ve fortunately not experienced because I have a fat heel (you can’t even see the outline of my heel bone!) For reference, I wear a size 42 Wolky Jewel, a size 40 Alegria Paloma, and a size 41 Dansko Sausalito sandal (various models.) Hope that helps!
