Sanita Dawn Sandal Review

Simplicity – that’s my mantra for everything.  Less is always more.  Period….EVEN when it comes to shoes.  While most women boast about a shoe sitting in their closet for every outfit and every occasion, I prefer quite the opposite.  When it comes to shoes, I like a few pairs of only the best.  I prefer shoes that go a long way – shoes that are well made, sassy but practical, and very versatile.

That’s exactly what the Sanita Dawn offers.  They are a go-to pair of shoes that look great with jeans, shorts, a skirt or capris.  They can be worn with a tee-shirt or dressed up for a night out.  The best part of all – they feel so good!

The Sanita Dawn is well-cushioned, so each step is very comfortable.  Though they may look heavy, they are extremely lightweight.  The first time I wore my new Sanitas, I was on my feet for five hours straight.  Oddly enough, I wasn’t even aware that I was “breaking in” a new pair of shoes.  They felt that good even upon my first wearing.

My favorite part of the shoe:  its organic, natural look.  The Danish design is so simple and lovely.  The Sanitas are made of smooth, soft leather.  They have an adjustable strap and treads on the bottom that grip to the ground.   The colors are fun, the scalloped design is cute and the heel is perfect for dressing up or dressing down.  I love that this shoe fits my simple lifestyle just perfectly.

A quick note from Kirsten: You may recall the Dansko Sissy from a few years back. The Sanita Dawn is unabashedly similar! The Dawn is from Sanita’s new Daisy line of footwear with lightweight polyurethane soles, cushioned footbeds and rocker soles. They fit a wider foot well as both buckes are adjustable.

Just wanted to stop in and say a big THANK YOU for this blog!! I, too, suffer from RA…among other things and am ever so grateful that you wrote a great review on the Ahnu Karma…I just got them yesterday and I am thrilled!! Thanks so much for this blog!! It is really hard to find shoes that are actually comfortable…and I usually change at least a couple of times a day! Your blog now resides on my blogroll!! Happy Sunday!~

Just ordered these in brown from amazon for$65! Can’t wait to try them. The reviews are mixed–some complaints that they are constructed cheaply–hoping they are wrong. Thanks for the review. I suffer from RA and PF so always looking for a comfy, cute affordable shoe!

I’m looking for comfortable, truly fashionable and affordable high heels (at least 3 in). Do you have any recommendations?

Very cute however I couldn’t get the front to fit properly. It was too wide and when I attempted to adjust to the next whole down it was too tight. Very strange. I guess these will need to go back!

I appreciate the post, but would like to see better fitting of the shoes. These sandals look too small on the model.
