Country mouse and City mouse both need new gray shoes to match their legs. They decide to meet half way in the suburbs to go shoe shopping at Nordstrom. At the urging of City mouse to update from Birks to ballerina flats, Country Mouse chooses the Indigo Rope Swing which is made by Clarks (which is a good thing since she has some comfy, old Clarks in her closet at home and likes a brand she can trust).
City Mouse, having developed metatarsalgia from years of wearing high heels to work, must find an elegant shoe with extra padding in the footbed in a low heel. Would it be possible? She comes across a display for Taryn Rose shoes. She recalls Ms. Rose's name from an article she read at FastCompany.com. "An orthopedic surgeon who shops at Neiman Marcus and designs her own line of fashion comfort shoes? I must try a pair!" City mouse muses. She decides on the Taryn Rose Bijou round toe flats.
Both mice wear their new shoes home and walk comfortably ever after.
