You by Crocs: Nightcap Suede Slip-On Review
Look past the winter white feet, my friends. Here I am in my new poppy suede slip-ons by You by Crocs! Zappos finally carries a partial selection of the new fashion forward line by Crocs.
If these look a little tight on my feet, well they are. I ordered a 9.5 thinking they'd run big like normal Crocs, but I should have gone for the 10. In fact, I'll probably exchange them.
The footbed is very comfortable and it should be; it's made of the same Croslite TM material that comprise regular Crocs. The toe box is a bit tight, but perhaps a size 10 will provide more room.
I do like the aerial view of the shoe with the rich ruby suede and sparkly trim and strap. However, I'm not crazy about the light co
lored wedge heel; it seems to "cheapen" the overall look which is no good when I paid over $140. Perhaps the black suede Nightcap with black wedge heel would have been a better choice.
Take a look at the whole collection here. What do you think?

Yeah, I definitely think the black would go better with your winter white feet... :) Seriously, though...I'm liking this direction that crocs seems to be taking!

I especially like the profile. I've had my eye on Neat since summer, but feel reluctant to order due to the size issue. I'm waiting for You by Crocs to be available at the mall.
It looks great on you!

Oh I am afraid I cannot get behind anything Croc. Also, they just do not look comfortable on your feet and that elasticized strap. I predict your dogs will really be barking after wearing these for a day! LOL However this is ONLY my opinion. Much love, xoxo-pm

Light colored wedge is strange, but I love these and I love red!!! I love innovation. How does that strap feel?

The strap is a little tight, but remember I have swollen feet due to the RA. The average normal width foot would be fine as it's elasticized. My feet suck.

Kristen, I would just stretch the elastic out a bit and it should break down enough to be comfortable. I had a pair of ballet flats that had the same issue. I agree with Heidi that the light colored wedge is just kind of off but the red color is nice. RA is such a difficult thing to live with and I'm happy that you are finding shoes that bring comfort to you. Much love, xoxo-pm

While I like the shade of red, I agree that the light wedge does cheapen the look. Also, I like the silver detail but not the obvious stitching on the strap. I do like the black but I applaud you for going for color!

Well I'm not a big fan of crocs, but I have to give them credit for continuing their momentum! And I'm a big fan of red shoes so nice pick on that, but I agree with you on the sole - it should not be that tan rubber. I'm a little concerned that they are charging over $140 for these?!?!

I agree, Morgan. I have no idea why these shoes would cost anything over $60! I might be returning them...

Those are the ugliest shoes I have ever seen in my life. Why you would pay $140 for these is a great mystery. They look like something you could buy at Walmart. I hope you took them back and got something decent.
