I first reviewed the Sofft Rena sandal at the beginning of May after wearing it just a few times. Now that summer is in full swing, I wanted to revisit this comfortable sandal as it's swiftly becoming my favorite. I like to think that the criss-cross straps take the focus off my chipped pedicure...don't burst my bubble. And yes, it's stock photography again until I buff and polish. Here's why I love the Rena:
- The footbed is cushioned from toe to heel. My foot feels supported throughout my stride-- from heel strike to toe off.
- The 1/2 inch stacked wood heel is more comfortable than flat-as-a-pancake shoes (and better for plantar fasciitis).
- The adjustable ankle strap offers a customized fit.
- The upper straps don't bother my bunions.
- The sandal hints of gladiator styling without being garish.
- Medium width fits my foot perfectly, but comes in narrow and wide widths also.
- Goes with EVERYTHING! I own these comfortable shoes in brown leather, but they come in white, black, silver and gold too.
