I've loved these Merrell Mary Janes since I first saw them online, but this Flickr photo seals the deal. Meet Liesl, avid knitter and comfy shoe connoisseur. Let's pause for a minute and and admire her hand-knit socks that coordinate so well with her comfortable shoes. Wouldn't you like to be able to knit your own socks? I sure would. In fact Liesl says that she just started a few years ago and doesn't even consider herself very crafty or coordinated. Good to hear...there's hope for me yet. You can find Liesl over at Ravelry.com, a knit and crochet community where she goes by BrownCurls.
When I asked her about what she specifically likes about the Merrell Circuit Mary Jane, she answered: the color (hard to find), the fact they show off socks, comfort and good traction in the Michigan snow and ice. I can attest to the comfort factor of Merrell. Their Q-form technology ensures proper alignment of feet, knees and hips during stride.
Available in moss (pictured above), black, burnt red and brown at Zappos for $80, free shipping both ways.
