Here I am looking quite smug in my new blue Josef Seibel flats. Growing ever more inquisitive about the three shades of blue after featuring them last week, I decided to order these comfortable shoes from Zappos. They definitely are unique, or as my sister-in-law insists, "they have too much going on."
Perhaps, but I like the fact that I can keep the rest of my outfit understated and have the shoes be the pop of summer color needed to brighten up the ensemble.
I definitely feel the "air massage" feature incorporated into the footbed. The arch support is not fantastic, but my feet feel supported and cushioned well enough to walk around town for a few hours. After reading other reviews, I understand the elastic across the instep can loosen quite a bit if you wear the Jody flat daily. If you're not fond of the color, but like the shoe itself, take a look at the pewter metallic, violet or paprika combinations.
I ordered the 41 and I am usually between a 9.5 and 10. The sizing indicates that the 41 is a 10-10.5, but it fits me well. I don't think the Jody would work well for wide feet as the instep strap would cut into the foot--best for narrow to medium. $130 at Zappos, free shipping both ways.
