Guest blogger and gal pal Beth is back with another great review; this time a sandal from Payless! Granted it's not a Naot sandal comfort wise, but I tried it on and it felt pretty darn nice. Aside from excellent taste in shoes, I love Beth's look--head to toe. Tell us please where you got that darling tank!
Having numerous graduation parties to
attend this summer, I was looking for a dressier sandal than my usual
Crocs/Birkenstocks, but needed something comfortable and – hardest
of all -- budget-friendly. So imagine my delight when I happened into
my local Payless store and found these cuties. For $16.99! They
look great and are surprisingly comfortable for a low-priced shoe.
I don’t have serious foot issues, but I do have moderate bunions
and generally just achy feet (especially in summer) thanks to
varicose veins. I snapped these up (another lady was eyeing them –
hold onto things you’re considering at places like Payless!), wore
them to a party where I stood for two hours, and felt fine! They
are genuine leather and look like a more expensive shoe. The
plastic sole has some give, the small platform offsets the height of
the wedge, the foot bed is lightly padded, and the straps cross at
comfortable places on the foot (even with bunions!)
I’ll admit,
Danskos they’re not, but for the price, the comfort factor is
definitely above average. While many inexpensive shoes are just foot
pain waiting to happen, this experience is proof that it’s worth
giving lower-priced options a try now and then, especially for shoes
that fall into the “occasional wear” category. Thank you,
Payless, from all us girls who love shoes that feel good, but can’t
plunk down $100 every time we want something new.
