As a teacher, I'm on my feet all the time, and absolutely HAVE to wear comfortable shoes. But darned if I'm going to let sixth graders out-style me. I love color, style, and comfort, and that's brought me to Born shoes. The Peony is so...pretty! And springy! The colors are fantastic, and even the footbed is pretty, covered as it is in a coordinating plaid that makes me feel happy when I spy it putting them on or taking them off. They're so cushy they could double as bedroom slippers. I may have to get another pair!
And Bertha:
I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort of these shoes! I wear a lot of flats in the spring and summer but they never have much cushioning or support. I don't have very finicky feet, so this isn't usually a problem unless I'm doing a lot of walking. I can tell that I'll be able to walk a lot farther in these! There is a nice amount of support and cushioning which is unusual in such a low-profile, slim flat. I too am considering a second pair!
