C'mon. Even if you detest Crocs, you gotta admit these are closing in on the realm of footwear acceptable for wear outside the garden. They're not floppy, filled with swiss cheese holes or day-glo like the original Crocs Cayman. The Crocs Malindi slingback has been a favorite comfortable shoe of mine for the past year. Here's why:
- Croslite TM material feels oh-so-nice on sensitive soles--soft, lightweight and protects heels and ball-of-foot from shock of walking on hard surfaces.
- Easy to slip-on and stays put. No laces or straps to deal with. With a possible tendon rupture in my wrist, I need something simple to put on in the morning.
- It's cute! Sure, pink leopard might not be your thing, but take a look at the solid colors.
- It's versatile. I can wear the Malindi with jeans, skirts, shorts, leggings, capris.
- Michelle Obama wears them. Not really a reason I wear them, just think it's sorta cool.
- Affordable--like under-thirty-bucks affordable.
Great news on sizing. The Crocs Malindi now comes in whole sizes 4-12--order up if in between sizes.
Bad news about leopard print. Sadly, this print is no longer available at crocs.com and other major retailers, but they do show up on ebay from time to time.
