Well criss-cross applesauce, I'm wearing something other than clogs and boots! Thank you to Taos for sending me the Expression mary jane. I'm rather fond of the X-straps as they turn a Plain Jane into a Unique Eunice.
The Taos Expression works well as a career shoe but could also be worn casually with patterned tights or socks. It runs true to size and features a contoured, cushioned footbed that offers moderate arch support--it's also removable should you want to insert a custom dress orthotic. I recommend the SuperFeet high-heel insole for extra support.
Since I've got screwy feet, I found the forefoot area a wee bit tight around the bunions and I wanted a tad more cushioning in under the metatarsals. I would recommend the Taos Expression for someone with a medium to slightly wide foot sans bunions who just needs a well-made comfortable pump with a heel under two inches.
