Born Geneva Clog: $69.99 at Eddie Bauer

Borngeneva_2 To be a slipper or not to be a slipper, that is the question. I'll tell you what though. I'd much rather see these on my feet than those Wooly Mammoth clogs by Crocs. These are not made out of some hard-to-pronounce composite, are absent of holes and come in natural colors.  Yes, that's real shearling, just like Uggs...but cheaper!  The Born Geneva is currently marked down to $69.99 at Eddie Bauer.

I just found out that Shoebuy is extending their current deal through December 17th. You can save $20 off a $50 order if you use Paypal.

If you're looking for last-minute gifts, check out their gift guide on the homepage. I came across this darling house slipper by Daniel Green and think I might order two pairs so I can get the $20 off! I hope my relatives aren't reading this or they are looking at their Christmas gift.

The Daniel Green Caramel is available in five color combinations. $37.45 at Shoebuy.

Daniel Green Brooke Slipper: $19.99 at ShoeTrader.com

Danielgreenbrooke2_3 When ShoeTrader.com has a sale, it's no sad little 10% off excuse-for-a-sale, it's usually the best deal on the internet. Here we have the Daniel Green Brooke fleece slipper for $19.99 with free shipping and returns (while Zappos is charging $41.95).

Look folks, it comes in Christmas colors, is fleecy warm, has a non-skid sole for mailbox runs and a memory foam footbed! I don't even need to elaborate on the gift potential here, do I?

Acorn Mary Merino Slippers: $31.99 at OnlineShoes.com

AcornslippersUpdate 11/24: These are on sale just in time for Christmas! OnlineShoes.com  has all four colors for $31.99, free shipping and returns...and if you buy one pair, you can get the second for 25% off with their current holiday promotion.

These colorful Mary Jane slippers are a good excuse to go out and buy new pajamas. I know I need a reason to part with my four year old, ratty, over-sized flannel pajama pants.

The lining is made from 100% merino wool; guaranteed to keep the itchies away. A nubuck outsole with TPR (thermo-plastic rubber) pads make these slippers not so slippy; you can go out and get the morning paper and make it back in one piece in these babies.

Onlineshoes.com offers these for $49.95; $13 bucks cheaper than Zappos. That price insures free shipping and returns.
