We all know how difficult it is to find a ballet flat with good arch support, let alone the capacity to accommodate bunions and hammertoes, but the Nairobi does all that and more with style and grace! The designers of the Nairobi somehow figured out how to add enhanced arch support and heel cushioning without adding bulk to this sleek skimmer. My arches feel supported and my heels aren’t complaining after standing on hard floors. The footbed is removable and could probably fit a dress orthotic well.
The Revere Nairobi features a vamp that crosses the foot below the bunions, enveloping them in soft leather with no irritation. I have tailor’s bunions, but you’d never know in these sweet flats. And if you’re as unfortunate as me to have hammertoes, you understand that most flats can’t accommodate them as the toe box is just too shallow.
