Naot Kirei Review : Comfort, Support & Fit Tips for Sensitive Feet

This is the lovely handcrafted Naot Kirei mary jane. Take it from a former educator with rheumatoid arthritis: if your feet are unhappy, everyone’s unhappy! And this is where the Naot Kirei comes in clutch.

The premium leather and suede uppers are forgiving of bunions. You might wonder if the vamp irritates the bunions as some mary janes can do, but the toe box is roomy enough to accommodate a wider forefoot.

The removable cork and latex footbed allows for the use of custom orthotics. I suppose I could wear my orthotics in them but the arch and metatarsal support is so wonderful, I don’t feel I need them (but it’s good to have options). Plus, the footbed molds to the unique shape of the foot over time.

An adjustable hook and loop closure accommodates both high and low volume feet and makes for easy on and off.

I honestly feel the Naot Kirei is as comfortable and supportive as my Stegmann house shoes, but with a more refined silhouette for dress-casual wear.

The fit and width is true. I wear a euro 41 for my size 10 feet.
