10 Comfortable, Stylish Women’s Loafers for Bad Feet

My personal favorite comfortable loafers are the bestselling Vionic Uptown. If you’ve followed Barking Dog Shoes for any length of time, you know I have rheumatoid arthritis and bad feet, so I do understand what makes a comfortable, supportive loafer. I’ll start this list with my video review of the Vionic Uptown (I’ve had them over a year and they’re still going strong), followed by nine more bestselling women’s loafers with high reviews for style and comfort. Feel free to share your recommendations in the comment section. Oh, and a little hint: if loafers tend to give you heel blisters while you break them in, try this nifty little product that I saw mentions on Reddit: Compeed Anti-blister stick!

Vionic Uptown Comfort/Support Features

Everyone’s favorite comfortable loafers! Over 6000 reviews on the Vionic website with an average 4.6/5 stars for comfort, fit and style. I love my Vionic Uptowns for the enhanced arch support, soft suede uppers that don’t pinch bunions or tailor’s bunions. They go with all my casual outfits from jeans to trousers to skirts. They’re available in so many pretty colors: neutrals, patterns, deep jewel tones and color block.

Clarks Westlynn Bella

3. Clarks Westlynn Bella

I refer to this fabulous Clarks shoe as a Goldilocks loafer (it’s just right)–check out my review here. It’s not too pricey, but certainly not cheaply made; the arch support isn’t too aggressive, but also not flat; the lug sole isn’t too chunky, but not thin and flimsy…you get the idea. Apparently I’m not the only one that thinks the Westlynn Bella is the bees knees–Clarks customers award this sweet loafer 4.7 stars out of 5!

Dr. Scholl’s Shoes Hello Loafer

6. Dr. Scholl’s Shoes Hello Loafer

Do you have slightly narrow, low volume foot? These comfortable loafers by Dr. Scholl’s Shoes may be your answer. Most customer reviews state that the Hello loafer fits a narrow to medium foot width best and runs just a little short, but the comfort technology is spot on for the price.
