Vionic Uptown Loafer: Arch Support in a Low Profile Loafer!
The Vionic Uptown loafer has been on my radar for a few months. I asked the Barking Dog Shoes Facebook community for feedback and women with foot issues ranging from plantar fasciitis to bunions to Morton’s neuroma gave the Uptown high marks for comfort and support. So I ordered a pair!

Update autumn 2025: I’m still reaching for my Vionic Uptowns whenever I need to cover my toes due to chipped pedicure and general distaste of my arthritic feet! The soft suede is kind to my sensitive toes and instep. The arch support is just right and they go with all my casual outfits.

I found the Vionic loafers to be far too big. I ordered my regular size 10 during a sale at Zappo’s last fall. I couldn’t even walk in them they since the shoes were so big. I didn’t re-order.
Is this a continuing problem or has anyone else had this problem?
I had ordered a pair of these loafers a while ago when I read about them here. I ordered my usual size 9 M but they were too tight. I gave them to my daughter whose feet are about a half size smaller, and she loves them. We have a road trip coming up and I decided to give these another try and ordered a size 9.5M. Just go them today, and they fit perfectly! Just shows – you never know.
