Clark's Korbin on Clare of Between Laundry Days

The unpacking can wait. I'd rather blog about shoes. I'm back from family fun times in Trumbull, CT with yet another pair of snazzy orange sandals to show you. Today we have Clare in the Clark's Korbin sandal. Clare has the most darling short and sassy haircut , plus she can DRESS! I love my Clark's!! These bright and cheery orange numbers are the first pair of Clark's I've had the pleasure of owning, and I am sold! I fell madly in love with them on a shopping trip with my mom, but chickened out. When I went back to drool some more, they were drastically on sale, so I enthusiastically forked over my $49 and skipped away. Since then I wear them as much as I can. They are wonderfully comfortable and unbelievably cute (in my humble opinion...). I love the low-rise wedge heel and incredibly comfortable footbed. I have pretty wide feet, especially at the toes, and the Clark's definitely accommodate comfortably (although I would mention that if you have wide feet throughout the top straps might dig in a bit). They seem to run a bit large in size; I am usually a 6.5 with sandals but these 6s fit perfectly. Overall, they are wonderful, comfy and cute (and did I mention ORANGE?!!). I'm definitely a Clark's convert.

Wolky Libre: Rocker Bottom Sandal in Punchy Colors

I've become quite smitten with Wolky shoes of late and the Libre is the current object of my affection.  Every day I'd check the shoe sites to see if the new Dutch Wolkys were in for the season and OnlineShoes.com scooped them all with this model plus many more this week. THIS is the shoe I should be packing to pound the pavement in NYC on Friday, but I don't own it...yet.

Just like the Wolky Jewel, the Libre features velcro straps everywhere for a customized fit: across toes, instep and around back of heel. The memory foam footbed absorbs shock and cushions foot. Crocs Malindi Leopard: Meeeooowww!

These are my spot-on crocs. I love everything about the Crocs Malindi; color, style, and feel.  I've worn them out and about for the better half of two weeks with every kind of outfit: cargos, jeans, skirts and shorts. In fact, I'm going to designate them my airport shoes for Thursday as I grapple with stroller, toddler and carry-ons through security--at least my shoes will be easy to take off and on.

Highlights of the Malindi (available for $34.99 at crocs.com):

• Color: light pink background with brown/black leopard spots--jazzes up a basic outfit of capris and tees.
• Style: feminine slingback with teardrop cut-outs across toes.
• Feel: The croslite™ footbed is cushiony, shock-absorbing, and lightweight. I have on-again/off-again pain in the ball of my foot that is alleviated when I wear crocs. The toe box on the Malindi isn't quite as roomy as the Cayman or Mary Jane style and might cause problems if you have a wide foot. The Malindi is best for narrow-medium widths.
